Machu Picchu in the storm clouds.

The surrounding jagged mountain tops were swallowed up by pillowy grey clouds… they rolled over us just as we climbed to the top lookout… thunder rolled and clapped…  seconds later the sky opened up and the rain came down… and down and down…. a massive thunderstorm…  this majestic wonder of the world glistened in the rain… grass luscious and green… channels came to life diverting precious water… as they’ve done for hundreds of years…  it was the kind of beauty that takes your breath away… a humbling magic moment to savour and remember… always…
