Hi I found your Vintage Fan Ripple Stitch Afphgan and was wanting to know how you did the edging, I am making Cowl for my Daughter n law and wth no edge it doesn’t look right, wondering if you can help.

Hi Denise, Oh boy think I just made it up as I went. For memory it was a series of chain stitches joined to the widest bits on the edge, then a row of single crochet in each colour but I crocheted into the back of the stitch like you do with the vintage fan ripple stitch pattern to repeat that line effect on the sides.
