Yarn heaven at Bendigo Woollen Mills shop. I’ve never been to the shop before and this was just one section of one wall of yarn. Not only is there lots of luscious yarn but a little clearance room with bargains and blends to make you need a new yarn storage solution! Sweet as pie service and wall to wall yarn – a pretty good start to the day!
I’ll be back… when I’ve figured out the storage solution!
New blanket colours…
More new blanket colours…
So many delicious colours….
I just fell in love with the colour blends in this big fat ball of pure wool.
Bendigo Farmers market complete with crochet seats…
… and colourful carrots!
A stop at Kyneton and we found the winner of ‘Best Hat Wear’ at the Kyneton Farmers market.
My lunch was the best thing I’ve eaten in ages! Pho at St Beans Provedore. Treat yourself and your body to this delicious tasty feast while it’s on the menu, you will be so glad you did!
The lunch view was pretty cute too!
We even managed a walk in the afternoon at our favourite gardens. And boy were we rewarded, just check out the amazing pretty colours of this tree! Glorious Autumn glory.
Well that was my Super Saturday.
I’m off to package up an order (yay!), start a new order (yay!), finish eating my freshly made kale chips (have you tried them? so easy and so delicious, not to mention ridiculously healthy. I based mine on this recipe – but tweaked it a bit… of course… can’t help myself) then a walk if I can squeeze it in.
Hope your Saturday was super.
Hope your Sunday is even more super!

I am drooling! I had already decided that I needed to go to Bendigo to see BWM’s instead of buying on line, but now I HAVE to go. It is the only yarn I use!
Nice.
You really must! It’s so nice to see the colours in the flesh instead of onscreen. Plus they are lovely folk there!
And you can get a fab lunch at Kyneton… What’s not to love about a road trip with yarn and food? 🙂
Sounds great! Planning now 🙂
