Chunky Love Blankie.
White – 100% wool, Green – 30% Alpaca and 70% wool. Crochet.
I know – another heart blanket! I can’t help it. I love hearts… and could they be any more appropriate on a baby blanket? No, I don’t think so.
I edged this blanket with a couple of rows of granny stitch, followed by a single crochet row in the white… and I felt soft rounded corners seemed to suit the pattern.
The Green yarn was super thick and chunky and I couldn’t find a nice clean white in the same thickness so I crocheted two strands together of a finer white yarn. This then made the white chunkier than the green but the overall effect worked nicely making the green hearts look a little more delicate in this chunky Chunky Love Blanket.
Hope you find some love in your day, chunky or not!
It’s very pretty and looks soft. Nice pattern and the white edging gives it a nice finished look.
